A service, not a box sale
We assess what you run, close the gaps that matter, and can stay as the managed security partner. An appliance is the product, not the programme.
-

Sophos first, not exclusive
Sophos is the named cybersecurity product in the catalogue. Fortinet sits in the same practice when that is the right platform.

Evidence before SKU
Networks, endpoints, identity, and cloud are reviewed so the work list is written down — not copied from a brochure.

Quoted per estate
Sites, endpoints, and duration change the number. There is no public price list for seats or appliances on this page.
What this service is
Cyber Security is the Patolink service that protects the estate organisations in Kenya and East Africa actually run: offices, branches, laptops, servers, Microsoft tenants, and Cloud EA virtual machines. It is our time — assessment, design, implementation, monitoring, and the retainer after go-live.
Sophos is the first vendor on the product side: firewall, endpoint, licences, and appliances. Fortinet is also in the practice when the estate needs it. The product renews on its own line. Our hours renew on theirs. That is how a finance team sees what is software and what is Patolink.
We do not lead with a SKU. A structured review produces the scope. Implementation and hardening follow. Monitoring and vulnerability management are how you notice an incident in the week it happens, not in the audit six months later.
The same desk can attach a managed cybersecurity retainer so patching of the security stack does not depend on whoever is in the office that week. Write to info@patolink.com or call +254 709 343 000. Unit 1105, Applewood Adams, Ngong Road.
Who typically buys it
- —Offices that need a perimeter and endpoint protection, not a brochure.
- —Estates that already bought a firewall and still have no monitoring.
- —Hybrid tenants and Cloud EA VPS instances that need controls around the VM.
- —Accounts that want Sophos or Fortinet next to a managed cybersecurity retainer.
Service areas
Cybersecurity assessment and consulting
A structured review of networks, endpoints, identity, and cloud so the work list is based on evidence.
Network security
Segmentation, access control, and traffic inspection for offices, branches, and data-centre edges.
Endpoint security
Protection and policy on laptops, desktops, and servers that staff actually use.
Firewall and perimeter protection
Design, implementation, and configuration of the edge — Sophos or Fortinet when that is the right product.
Threat protection
Controls that reduce malware, ransomware, and known attack paths, then keep those controls current.
Security monitoring
Watching the estate after go-live so incidents are noticed, not discovered months later.
Vulnerability management
Finding, ranking, and closing weaknesses on a schedule that matches the organisation.
Security implementation and configuration
Hands-on build and hardening, not only a report left in a share.
Cloud security
Controls around Microsoft tenants, Cloud EA VPS instances, and hybrid estates we already operate.
Managed cybersecurity services
Ongoing operation of the stack — monitoring, patching of security tooling, and response support.
How an engagement runs
-
Step 01
Write down the estate
Sites, users, firewalls, endpoints, tenants, and any Cloud EA VPS already in play. We will not discover the real inventory in week six.
-
Step 02
Assess and rank
Assessment and consulting produce a work list: what is exposed, what can wait, and what belongs on the first quotation.
-
Step 03
Implement and harden
Firewall, endpoint, identity, and cloud controls are built and configured. Sophos or Fortinet products sit on their own line when they are sold.
-
Step 04
Watch and retain
Monitoring, vulnerability management, and a managed cybersecurity retainer continue after cutover if you want the same firm on the stack.
What a quotation names
Nothing here is a fixed public price. Endpoints, sites, and duration set the number. The Linux VPS matrix is the only published price list on this site.
Service hours
Assessment, implementation, configuration, and any project work that is one-off.
Security products
Sophos licences, appliances, or Fortinet when that platform is the fit — each on its own product line.
Managed retainer
Monitoring, patching of security tooling, and response support on a monthly, quarterly, or annual cycle.
Account owner
A named Patolink owner from the Nairobi desk, plus the hours and sites the retainer actually covers.
How it sits with the rest of the stack
Network design and the perimeter are written together. Segmentation, access control, and the firewall are not a leftover purchase after the switches are in. HPE hardware, when the account needs it, is quoted as a product next to those hours.
Cloud security covers Microsoft 365 tenants and Cloud EA VPS instances as well as office estates. A managed-services retainer can carry the day-to-day estate while this line carries the security programme. Three records if needed: product, project, retainer.
What this page does not sell
A Sophos or Fortinet box by itself is a product. This page is the service that decides whether that box belongs, installs it, and can watch it. Buying a firewall without assessment is how an estate ends up with a licence and an open guest VLAN.
We will not publish a fake public price for seats and appliances. Describe what you run today. We quote from Nairobi.
