Order on this site
Select a plan, pay the invoice, and the instance is provisioned. The hypervisor stays on the backend.
What this product is
A Cloud EA VPS is a product: a named plan with resources and a billing cycle. Cloud & VPS is the service line when we also design, operate, or retain the estate. You can buy the VM alone, or the VM plus a managed-services retainer.
The published Linux packages are Starter, Growth, Pro, Enterprise, Apex, and Custom. Pro is the default for a real application stack. Apex is the published best-value step when you already know you will fill the memory. Custom is the quote when none of those shapes fit.
After payment is verified, the backend asks the hypervisor to create the VM, apply CPU, RAM, storage, networking, and the OS, and start the server. Credentials are issued securely. Email — and WhatsApp where configured — tells you it is up. The instance then appears in the customer portal.
You see the plan, the invoice, and the credentials — not the infrastructure behind them.
Who typically buys it
- —A first project, staging box, or low-traffic site that should not wait three weeks for hardware.
- —A 3CX or Yeastar host that should not live in a cupboard.
- —An application stack that already knows it will need 8 GB or more.
- —A custom specification when the public cards are the wrong shape.
What a plan can include
vCPU
Number of virtual CPU cores allocated to the instance.
RAM
Allocated server memory.

IP address
Public or private allocation where the plan includes them.
Bandwidth
Network and traffic allowance for the instance.

Billing cycle
Monthly on the public cards. Quarterly, annual, or another cycle when configured.
Published Linux VM matrix
Taken from the Cloud EA Linux VM pricelist. Every published plan includes 24/7 monitoring, daily backups, and free migration support.
| Plan | vCPU | RAM | Storage | KES / month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 2 | 2 GB | 100 GB SSD | 3,000 |
| Growth | 4 | 4 GB | 160 GB SSD | 5,000 |
| Pro Most popular | 4 | 8 GB | 220 GB SSD | 8,000 |
| Enterprise | 6 | 16 GB | 360 GB SSD | 15,000 |
| Apex Best value | 6 | 32 GB | 700 GB SSD | 25,000 |

Administrators will own this matrix from the portal later. What you read here is the published starting set, not a promise that PHP stays the source of truth forever.
How an order is supposed to run
You select a plan and the operating system, create or sign into a Patolink account, and pay the invoice. After payment is verified, the backend provisions the instance and issues credentials.
In the portal you can view servers and status; start, stop, and reboot; and read assigned IPs, CPU, RAM, storage, OS, specifications, billing, and renewals. Only the management actions the platform exposes securely are available — this website never talks to the hypervisor directly.
What is not on the VM line
Managed patching, hardening, and a named on-call are not automatic. Those sit on a managed-services retainer if you do not want to operate the instance yourself.
A Sophos, 3CX, or Microsoft licence is a separate product on the same quotation when the VM is only the host. Three catalogue lines, one project, readable renewals.
